Based on Paulus W writing in Kompas (Februari 8, 2010) the future of Wimax in Indonesia stil not good. Opportunists will take a big chances for it. Indonesian regulations stand to big corporates. WiMAX as a technology, continuing Wireless Fidelity concept. If WiMAX used in our community, there will be a great changes in our way to access internet as WiMAX can be used as personal hotspot with its chip in our gadgets.
With WiMAX technology, connectivity of people in Indonesia with the world will be strengthened. Some corporates like PT Panggung Electronic Citrabuana, PT Olex Cables Indonesia, PT Berca Cakra Teknologi, PT Xirca Darma Persada, PT Realta Chakradarma, PT Jetcomas Netindo, PT LEN Industri, APKOMINDO, ASPILUKI and Wimax Forum Indonesia.
